Travis Republicans pass resolution rebuking Chairman-elect

The following resolution passed by a wide margin on March 8 at the Travis County Executive Committee meeting:

Whereas, the Travis County Republican Party does not condone profane slander of Republican former or current elected officials and candidates, and 

Whereas, the Travis County Republican Party seeks to raise the level of public debate, and 

Therefore, be it resolved, the Travis County Republican Party hereby condemns and disavows all profane or slanderous statements made by newly-elected Travis County Republican Party Chairman Robert Morrow, and 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be sent to all Austin-area media on behalf of Travis County Republicans.
